A Great Moths Day Gift: Product Safety Information

You can give the gift of safety information this Mothers Day to moms in your area. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) offers information that can keep them and their families safe from harmful products.

Tell moms that they can go to www.cpsc.gov/en/Newsroom/Subscribe and sign up for notices of what products have been recalled and what actions they need to take. And, because there are all kinds of moms in a community, moms can tailor the information to get just what they want:

New Moms choose Recalls involving Infant/Child Products to learn about cribs, strollers, baby toys, childrs clothing and more.

Foodie Moms and Handywoman Moms chooseRecalls involving Household Product to learn about recalls for cooking tools, appliances and more.

Sports Moms and Outdoors Mom chooseRecalls involving products used for Sports and Recreatio and Recalls involving products used Outdoor to learn about recalls for bicycles, playground equipment, off-road motorcycles and ATVs, exercise equipment and more.

Or they can simply choose All Recal to make sure they do not miss a thing.

They can also report their experiences with unsafe products and read reports from other moms and dads at www.saferproducts.gov.
Thanks for spreading the word and helping to make your community safer.

Carl
