We are happy to announce another exciting addition to our program! To help address non-hardware or “soft" costs, SunShot and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory are hosting the first ever SunShot Hackathon. Teams of coders, designers, software pros and energy experts will brainstorm and collaborate during a 24-hour “hackathon” to build web and mobile apps meant to lower the cost of solar energy. The hackathon will take place at the Summit from 5 p.m. on May 21 to 5 p.m. on May 22 and will be a one-of-a-kind event focusing on expanding the solar market in the United States. Learn more and sign up to participate.

The SunShot team is looking forward to an exciting four day program from May 19-22, including keynote speakers, engaging panel discussions, 15 breakout sessions, and workshops on top issues and opportunities in solar energy. The SunShot Summit will be a premier event and a platform for networking with solar professionals from across the country.

Check out the full event program and speaker line up on the Summit website and don’t forget to register by Friday, May 9 here.

See you in California!
