28th Annual Federal Information Systems Security Educators’ Association (FISSEA) Conference
Changes, Challenges, and Collaborations: Effective Cybersecurity Training
March 24-25, 2015
We are currently seeking timely, topical and thought-provoking presentations for the 28th Annual Federal Information Systems Security Educators’ Association (FISSEA) Conference to be held March 24-25, 2015 at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Gaithersburg, Maryland. We are looking for presentations that address all aspects of information security but focus on the training aspect.
The Call for Presentations is online. Theme: Changes, Challenges, and Collaborations: Effective Cybersecurity Training. Submission deadline: January 2, 2015.
Keep in mind, there are other ways to participate:
- Enter the FISSEA Security Awareness, Training, and Education Contest
- Nominate a contemporary for the FISSEA Educator of the Year Award
- Participate in the Vendor and Federal Agency Exhibition on March 25th
- Register to attend by 3/17/2015
FISSEA conferences are inexpensive to attend and contain so much valuable information - there really is no other resource that offers as much value for such a small investment, particularly in this time of cutbacks and economic hardship. The registration fee is $195 including food (breaks and lunches) or $101 without food.
We’re looking for fresh ideas for conducting meaningful and effective training. Send your conference proposals by January 2, 2015.
