DOE Announces Webinars on Climate Change Impacts and Indian Country, the Federal Utility Partnership Working Group Seminar, and More

The Energy Department will help host a live webinar titled “Climate Change Impacts and Indian Country: Human Health and Community” today, May 1, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. The webinar will focus on the multi-agency Sustainable Communities program, which works to support state, local, and tribal governments in planning activities to develop their communities in more environmentally and economically sustainable ways. Webinar attendees will also learn about other programs federal agencies have in place to help local communities with climate change impact assessments, mitigation, and adaptation. The Energy Department will also present a live webinar titled “Federal Utility Partnership Working Group Seminar” on Wednesday, May 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. The webinar will foster communication between federal agencies, specific sites, and utilities to implement cost-effective energy efficiency and water conservation projects.
