EPA Announces Support for Small Businesses EPA and DOE Release 2015 Fuel Economy Guide for Car Buyers EPA Recognizes and Honors Veterans Take EPA's Quiz to Test Your Climate Knowledge EPA Announces Support for Small Businesses EPA announced awards for small businesses in eight states to help them bring innovative green technologies to the marketplace. EPA is providing $3 million in funding to 9 small businesses through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program. SBIR funding reinforces EPA's commitment to supporting small businesses and protecting human health and the environment. Small businesses will use this funding to commercialize innovative, affordable, and energy-efficient technologies. Read about the latest awardees and the SBIR program here. http://go.usa.gov/A6tT EPA and DOE Release 2015 Fuel Economy Guide for Car Buyers EPA and the Department of Energy recently released the 2015 Fuel Economy Guide, providing consumers with a valuable resource to help them choose the most fuel-efficient and low greenhouse gas emitting vehicles that meet their needs. In comparison to previous years, the 2015 models include a greater number of fuel efficient and low-emission vehicles in a broader variety of classes and sizes. Consumers will find a broad range of information that can be helpful while shopping for a new vehicle — including an estimated annual fuel cost for each vehicle.
