EPA Finalizes Standards to Protect Fish, Aquatic Life from Cooling Water Intakes

EPA has finalized standards to protect billions of fish and other aquatic life drawn each year into cooling water systems at large power plants and factories. This final rule is required by the Clean Water Act to address site-specific challenges, and establishes a common sense framework, putting a premium on public input and flexibility for facilities to comply

EPA Celebrates AAPI Heritage Month by Highlighting Accomplishments and Hosting a Grants Webinar on May 28

In commemoration of May being AAPI Heritage Month, EPA's Office of Grants and Debarment is hosting a webinar on Wednesday, May 28 from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EDT. This EPA presentation will be geared towards members of the AAPI community. It will cover finding and applying for grant opportunities, preparing a proper budget detail and will also include a question and answer session.
