September 29-30: EPA Hosts Chemical Safety Data Summit and Webinar in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina WASHINGTON --- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is hosting a data summit for the user community, including industry, NGO’s, academia, and government, to present ideas on how to use large quantities of recently available chemical data, generated through advanced screening technologies, to inform decisions about the safety of chemicals. EPA released the new data on 1,800 chemicals in December 2013 to the public through user-friendly web applications called interactive Chemical Safety for Sustainability (iCSS) Dashboards.
